Happens all the time in anime unfortunately. I really hate when characters do that.

For me it humanizes the character somewhat... As long as they don't become so nervous, they can't even do what they were supposed to do.

His reactions every time he's spoken to feel so off all the time... and I mean that knowing he's got some problems with social interactions. It doesn't seem like he "doesn't know how to respond", but instead that he just spaces out randomly - even when he's been participating in the discussion.

He just needs his invoker gun to call out his persona and he will be fine

Concert band concertmaster is usually principal clarinet, but I've seen it can be principal flute, trumpet or cornet depending on the type of wind band.

It wasn't focused on, but principal clarinet in HibiEupho led tuning.
Re tuning, I've seen that oboes lead orchestral tuning due to them being harder to adjust than other instruments, if this is really true, why isn't it fixed in these modern times?

Relatedly, most flutes were standardized to be made of metal so long ago, but many other woodwinds are lagging behind with special wood which can be harder to source or a cheaper wood substitute.

What an annoying cliffhanger lol, I hope he is able to play well and not making any massive mistakes because of the nerves. He should just assume people might recognize him from competitions, his memory sucks though lol, he doesn't remember anyone.

Also, I am not sure why he went to a school with an orchestra club if he didn't want to be recognized. He should have went to one without any relation to the music field if he truly didn't wish to go somewhere where no-one knows him.

Along with his own trauma, part of him quitting violin was him basically being his mum's whiteknight, but thankfully she as the adult got over it much faster.
But instead of the miscommunication cliches, his mum should've spoken to him long before teacher did.

Part of it was Ritsuko & Hajime's teacher manipulating them to help each other in the short-term but teacher should've been more upfront from the beginning that he was hoping Hajime would join & reclaim a passion for music.

Well, @ least Hajime wasn't jerked around like Kousei Arima from KimiUso, that was downright extra abusive.
